About ATR New Mexico

The cornerstone of Access To Recovery in New Mexico is client choice. The commitment of the participating Central Intake locations and provider networks are to ensure genuine, free and independent client choice for clinical and recovery support services.

An individual who is eligible to participate in ATRNM, will receive a clinical assessment and recovery support services assessment at the Central Intake location. Based on the results of these assessments the individual can receive a clinical voucher and a recovery support voucher. From the time of the assessment, vouchers are active for 3 months. Due to funding limitations, an individual who receives ATR services is eligible for ATR funding for only one episode of care. Individuals are not allowed to return at a later time for more vouchers.

Once the Vouchers are created, the individual will get to choose a provider from the ATR network for the clinical voucher and a provider from the ATR network for each selected recovery support service. An individual can change providers at any time during the course of treatment and for any reason.
